Claudio Baglioni is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Rome in 1951, regarded as one of the country's most influential pop artists. He began performing as a teenager, signed with RCA Italiana in 1969, and released his debut album the following year. Combining light pop with rock, folk-rock and world-music influences, he has built a career spanning more than five decades and become one of the best-selling recording artists in Italian music history.

על Claudio Baglioni

His 1972 concept album Questo piccolo grande amore became a defining record of Italian pop, and its title single ranks among the best-selling singles ever released in Italy. Later albums such as La vita è adesso and Oltre extended his run of chart success through the 1980s and 1990s, while his tours introduced elaborate stage productions including center-stage concert formats. He received the Tenco Prize for career achievement in 2022 and has performed at the Vatican and the European Parliament.
