Festa Major del Poblenou 2026

The Festa Major del Poblenou turns the Barcelona neighbourhood into an open-air celebration for over a week each September. The programme is packed with community-driven events: a festive opening speech on the Rambla, morning music sessions, a children's parade, a correfoc, and a procession of giants. The closing night features the traditional fireworks display on Bogatell Beach, a luminous end to the festivities.

Beyond the classic elements, the festival showcases local creativity. A photographic installation by Albert Masias, winner of the Fundació Carulla's Beca Gent del Barri, offers a visual dialogue of the neighbourhood's social fabric. A hip-hop block party brings DJ sets, live performances, projections, and live graffiti to the streets. Theatre, poetry animation, and a super-8 film projection round out a diverse cultural offering that reflects Poblenou's artistic spirit.
