ABBA Voyage: Virtual Concert Residency in London

ABBA Voyage is a virtual concert residency featuring the Swedish pop group ABBA as digital avatars, known as "ABBAtars," depicting the band as they appeared in 1979. The shows combine original vocals recorded by the group with a 10-piece live instrumental band on stage, performing 22 of ABBA's songs. The experience is held at the ABBA Arena, a purpose-built venue in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London.

The concerts were created using motion capture and visual effects by Industrial Light & Magic, with a reported budget of $175 million. The setlist includes hits and deeper cuts, and the show has attracted over four million visitors since its launch in May 2022. The venue maintains a 99% full house every night.

Attendees can expect a visually immersive performance where the virtual band appears life-size on stage, accompanied by live musicians and synchronized lighting. The show runs seven times a week and has been extended until February 2027.
