Halloween Scarefest - The Factory Southside Youthspace

Halloween Scarefest - The Factory Southside Youthspace is a family Halloween event at The Factory Southside Youthspace in Limerick on Thursday, 29 October 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00. The event is sold out, and entry is by pre-booked ticket only. The afternoon includes a live Scare Maze, a live DJ playing Halloween and party music, face painting, interactive games and goodie bags with every child ticket. Children can also hunt for hidden ghosts around The Factory and enter a Halloween prize draw. Irish Clouds runs a hands-on Candy Floss Workshop where children make purple and orange candy floss and receive a Halloween themed Master of Sweet Magic certificate. Places are limited to 40 children, and the workshop is sold out. The Scare Maze has live actors, themed rooms, darkness and special effects. It is suggested for ages 8 and over and includes blackout areas, flashing and strobe lighting, loud noises and frightening scenes. Children who skip the maze can still join the other activities. Tickets cost €5 per child, and accompanying adults go free. Children must stay under the supervision of a parent, guardian or responsible adult. The event is delivered in association with Limerick City and County Council.
