La Reezy

Khayree Salahuddin, known professionally as La Reezy, is an American rapper and activist from New Orleans. Growing up in the 12th Ward, he was inspired by a wide range of artists from Lil Wayne to Kanye West. He began making music at 14 and has since developed a style that blends sharp lyricism with community advocacy, coining the term "rap-tivist" to describe his mission.

La Reezy’s career gained momentum in 2025 when he opened for Little Simz at the Hollywood Palladium and appeared at Camp Flog Gnaw. The following year, he performed at the 61st commemoration of Malcolm X and was named to XXL’s Freshman Class, a hallmark for emerging hip-hop talent. His debut album, Skiddle Bandana, arrived in 2026, cementing his place as a rising force in rap.
