Micky Dolenz Brings Monkees Magic to Los Angeles

Micky Dolenz, the last surviving original member of the Monkees, brings his show to Los Angeles. He sang lead vocals on a majority of the Monkees studio recordings, including hits like "I'm a Believer" and "Last Train to Clarksville." His performance on the Monkees' song "Daily Nightly" was one of the first uses of the Moog synthesizer on a rock recording.

Beyond the music, Dolenz shares stories from his career, from his early days as a child actor on "Circus Boy" to his pioneering use of the Moog synthesizer. He is the only member who was part of every lineup from the band's inception and the only one with contemporary recordings of his vocals on all studio albums.
