An Evening with Soul Trumpeter Lin Rountree

Lin Rountree, known as the Soul-Trumpeter, brings his instrumental soul and contemporary jazz to Blue Note Hawaii. A trumpet player, songwriter, and producer, he has released nine solo albums, with 24 Billboard singles and five No. 1 hits to his name. His musical path started at age 11, took him through the Duke Ellington School for the Arts and Florida A&M University's Marching 100, and led to collaborations with KEM, Dwele, George Duke, and Conya Doss, as well as an appearance in the film SPARKLE.
