Frank Turner with Emily Wolfe in Buffalo

Emily Wolfe brings her gritty, guitar-driven rock and roll to Buffalo on this bill. The Austin, Texas-based guitarist has built a four-album catalogue, including Outlier and The Blowback, and her sound draws from pop's big-chorus instincts and the heavy crunch of Queens of the Stone Age. Her album Outlier was produced by Queens of the Stone Age's Michael Shuman.

Wolfe, a self-described gear head, designs her own pedal boards to round out her live guitar tone. She has shared stages with Gary Clark Jr., Heart, and The Pretenders, and her recent singles include "Holy Roller," "Crave Me," and "Power." The result is a loud, chorus-driven opening set before Frank Turner takes the stage.
