Jimkata w/ The New Service

Jimkata returns to Middle Ages Music Hall with Syracuse's The New Service in tow, part of a 10-year celebration of the album *In Motion*. The night pairs a band that blurs the line between rock and electronic music with a local four-piece known for funky originals, hard-hitting jams and adventurous improvisation.

Jimkata, built around the lifelong friendship of Evan Friedell, Aaron Gorsch and Packy Lunn, draws on influences from Motown and singer-songwriters to classic country, with Cooper Casterline on bass stretching the sound onstage. Expect soaring guitar riffs, infectious grooves and soul-stirring lyrics drawn from a catalog where no songs are off limits.
