Peter Bjorn and John Live in Atlanta

Swedish indie pop/rock trio Peter Bjorn and John bring their signature blend of melodic hooks and experimental sounds to Atlanta. Formed in Stockholm in 1999, the band gained international fame with their 2006 single "Young Folks", a catchy duet that became a top 20 hit in the UK and featured in numerous TV shows and video games. Their music draws from influences like The Stone Roses, Depeche Mode, and Fleetwood Mac, yet they carve out a distinct style that has evolved over eight studio albums.

Attendees can expect a lively set spanning the band's career, from the breakthrough Writer's Block to later albums like Darker Days. Opening the night is indie folk artist Josh Rouse, whose warm songwriting complements the headliners. Recent live shows have featured Lars Skoglund on drums, bringing fresh energy to the stage.

The band members are also founding members of the Swedish artist collective and record label INGRID, established in 2012, and have opened for Depeche Mode during their Tour of the Universe.
