Stokley Williams is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from St. Paul, Minnesota, best known as the longtime frontman and drummer of R&B band Mint Condition, whose hits including "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)" and "What Kind of Man Would I Be?" made the Minneapolis group one of the defining acts of '90s R&B. Beyond fronting the band, Williams has also portrayed Rick James in the stage production Super Freak: The Rick James Story. He launched a solo career in 2017 that has produced its own R&B chart-toppers, including "Level," "Organic" and "She."
