Sweeping Promises / Clickbait / Uniflora at Empty Bottle

Featuring a trio of acts, the headliners Sweeping Promises bring their distinctive sound—forged in a disused concrete laboratory with a self-devised single-mic technique—to the Empty Bottle stage. The duo, Lira Mondal and CauField Schnug, released their debut Hunger for a Way Out during quarantine and quickly gained traction in punk circles. Their 2023 sophomore album Good Living is Coming for You on Feel It Records and Sub Pop earned praise for its blend of pop songwriting and punk production.

After extensive touring with drummer Spenser Gralla, the band relocated to Lawrence, KS, building a DIY recording compound. Their reputation as a fierce live act has only grown, promising an energetic set. Supporting acts Clickbait and Uniflora round out a night of raw, inventive music.
