Writers Night at The Bluebird Cafe

Since 1986, Sunday Writers Night at The Bluebird Cafe has been a cherished Nashville tradition, offering a platform for up-and-coming songwriters who have earned their spot through a rigorous audition. Hosted by local comedian and songwriter Steve Goodie, the evening features each performer sharing a three-song set in an intimate listening-room environment designed to nurture songwriting craft.

Attendees can expect a cozy, up-close experience in a venue with just 18 tables, 8 bar seats, and 8 pew church seats, creating a personal atmosphere where the focus is squarely on the music. Thanks to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), admission is free, with only minimal fees applied to support website maintenance.
