Writers Night at The Bluebird Cafe

Writers Night is a beloved weekly tradition at The Bluebird Cafe, turning the spotlight on up-and-coming songwriters who have earned their slot through a Bluebird audition. Each performer shares a three-song set in an intimate listening-room environment designed to help artists grow their craft. The evening is hosted by local comedian and songwriter Steve Goodie, adding a light touch between sets.

With just 18 tables, 8 bar seats and a few pew seats, the room keeps audiences close to the performers. The remaining pew seats are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving a little early can pay off for walk-ups. For visitors, it's a rare chance to hear Nashville's next wave of songwriters in a room built for listening.
