Rideshare or a rental car is useful for Hoover Dam, about 45 minutes from the Strip, though everything else below sits within walking distance or a short rideshare on the Strip or downtown. Prices are adult admission for 2026 — several Strip attractions use dynamic, date-based pricing rather than a fixed rate, which is noted where it applies.
Day 1 — The Strip
Afternoon starts with indoor gondola rides at The Venetian, then the Bellagio Fountains and the High Roller observation wheel fill the evening before a walk down the Strip after dark, when the resort signage is lit and easiest to see. Day 1 confirmed entrance fees total $39 per adult — the High Roller prices its ticket tiers by date, so check the official site when you book.
| Stop | Entrance | Time needed | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gondola Rides at The Venetian | $39 | 15-20 min | Shared gondola for up to 4 guests; book online up to 60 days ahead |
| Fountains of Bellagio | Free | 30-45 min | Shows run every 15-30 minutes from afternoon into the night |
| High Roller Observation Wheel | Ticketed — check official site | 30 min | Standard, anytime and open-bar ticket tiers price by date |
| Las Vegas Strip (evening walk) | Free | 2-4 hrs | Best after dark, when the resort signage is lit |
Day 2 — Hoover Dam and downtown
Hoover Dam is a half-day trip best started in the morning, before returning to the city for the Neon Museum in the late afternoon and the Fremont Street Experience's canopy light shows after dark. Day 2 confirmed entrance fees total $40 per adult — Sphere's interior shows are priced by date on the official site, while its exterior Exosphere display is free to view from the Strip.
| Stop | Entrance | Time needed | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hoover Dam visitor center tour | $15 | 1.5-2 hrs | Self-guided tour price; the guided Power Plant Tour costs $25. Exterior dam viewing and the roadway crossing are free |
| Neon Museum | $25 | 1-1.5 hrs | Discounted $20 rate for students, veterans, seniors 65+ and Nevada residents |
| Fremont Street Experience | Free | 1-2 hrs | Canopy light shows run on the hour in the evening |
| Sphere | Ticketed — check official site | 2 hrs for a ticketed show | The Exosphere exterior LED display is free to view from the Strip; only interior shows are ticketed |
