Festa Major de Vallcarca 2026 at Can Carol

The Festa Major de Vallcarca returns to Can Carol, the community-run space in Barcelona's Vallcarca neighborhood, with two days of neighborhood-led celebration. On Friday evening, the square gets dressed up for the party with fluorescent face painting, a salsa session, and a drum call before the correfoc, a fire-run procession organized by the Coordinadora de Colles de Cultura de Gràcia. Saturday brings a full day of activities in Plaça Farigola, from a local artisans' market and a table tennis tournament to a circus workshop, an intergenerational dance party, and a communal fideuà. The afternoon continues with a musical bingo, Irish dancing with Aires Celtes, a Holi color party, and havaneres with rom cremat performed by Barcarola. As night falls, the square turns into a festive gathering with a shared dinner, followed by live music from Columba and Solc, and a DJ set by PD La Cara.B. A Punt Lila ensures a safe, respectful atmosphere throughout the night. The celebration also includes a blood donation drive on Wednesday, September 9, organized with the Banc de Sang i Teixits. It's a true community fiesta, where neighbors come together to share food, music, and tradition under the open sky.
