Keywest are an Irish pop-folk band formed in Dublin. The founding members, Andrew Kavanagh and Andrew Glover, were childhood friends from Artane in Dublin. The band started as street performers in Galway and then busked on Grafton Street in Dublin.
Their debut album The Message (2012) reached the Irish top 20. It was followed by Joyland (2015) and True North (2018), which peaked at number three in Ireland. Ordinary Superhero (2019) was their first release on Marshall Records, which they signed with in November 2018, and the album included the single C'est La Vie.
The band has played three sold-out Dublin shows at the Olympia Theatre, The Academy and Whelan's within ten months. Festival appearances include Electric Picnic, Longitude and British Summer Time. An Irish, UK and European tour included a sold-out show at the O2 Academy in Liverpool.
