Pooh are an Italian pop band formed in Bologna. The group grew out of the Jaguars, founded in 1962 by drummer Valerio Negrini and guitarist Mauro Bertoli, and took the name Pooh in 1966, inspired by Winnie-the-Pooh. Their first single, 'Vieni fuori', was released in 1966, the year Roby Facchinetti joined.

After moving to CBS in 1971, the band had number-one hits with 'Tanta voglia di lei' and 'Pensiero'. Bassist Red Canzian joined in 1973, and the line-up of Facchinetti, Dodi Battaglia, Canzian and drummer Stefano D'Orazio became the best known. Their albums include Parsifal (1973) and Viva (1979), and they began staging stadium concerts in 1977.

Pooh won the Sanremo Music Festival in 1990 with 'Uomini soli', their only competition entry. D'Orazio left in 2009, and the band played a final concert in Casalecchio di Reno on 30 December 2016 after their 50th anniversary. D'Orazio died in November 2020, and in 2023 the surviving members reunited, with Riccardo Fogli returning, and performed at Sanremo in tribute to him.
