The Kid LAROI is the stage name of Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, an Australian rapper and singer from Sydney who began posting freestyles to SoundCloud before signing to Grade A Productions and Columbia Records in 2019.
His sound moves between hip hop, R&B and pop punk. The 2021 duet "Stay", made with Justin Bieber, became his highest-charting single, and his debut album, The First Time (2023), reached number three on the Australian charts.
