Cyprus Rocks 2026: a week of UK tribute bands in Protaras

Cyprus Rocks turns a stretch of the Protaras–Paralimni coast into a week of classic rock tribute shows, built entirely around UK tribute acts rather than the original bands. The format is a run of themed nights — a Guns N' Roses set from Guns Or Roses, a Queen show from UK Queen, AC/DC covered by the Live/Wire AC/DC Show, plus tributes to Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, The Who, Status Quo, Foo Fighters, Motörhead, ZZ Top, Aerosmith and Fleetwood Mac spread across a welcome party, main-stage nights, and a farewell party.

It's aimed squarely at people who grew up on these bands and want a singalong night out rather than a discovery-focused music festival — the tribute acts play the hits note for note, and the crowd skews toward regulars who book the whole week rather than a single show. Venues are spread around the Protaras-Paralimni resort strip, so it works more like a themed pub-and-club circuit than a single festival site.
