International Nicosia Festival 2026: 12 September to 1 November in Nicosia, Cyprus

The festival's own website says it was founded in 2019 and presents the 2026 edition under those dates.

The festival is organised by Nicosia for Art Ltd, and its year-round team is based at the municipal theatre of Nicosia. The same site lists the programme in five groups: theatre, music, performance, dance and screenings.

The first dated entry in the listing is GOODBYE LINDITA, shown on 12 September at 20:00 and again on 13 September at 19:00. Two further listed performances are held at the municipal theatre. The Corridor is a dance work listed on 4 October at 20:00. Amalia melancholia is listed on 10 October at 20:00 and 11 October at 19:00, and its page gives the running time as 95 minutes without an interval.

Not everything takes place on a stage. The installation called +357 is a telephone booth placed outside the municipal theatre as an artwork, and its listing gives the theatre square as the location. The page dates it from 12 September to 1 November 2026, so it spans the full length of the festival.
