In this hands-on workshop, illustrator Gala Pont leads a session on botanical illustration, where participants investigate local plants, identify them, and learn to draw them as ancient naturalists did, uncovering their characteristics and stories. The activity is part of the Premis Junceda 2025, a unique award scheme in Catalonia covering all areas of illustration, organized by the Professional Association of Illustrators of Catalonia (APIC).
The workshop takes place at the Biblioteca Ignasi Iglésias-Can Fabra, with limited capacity for 15 children accompanied by an adult. It's a chance for young participants to explore nature through art, guided by a professional illustrator, in a creative and educational setting.
