Unlike Munich’s single continuous fairground, Oktoberfest Budapest is a citywide series of pop-up beer gardens spread across several of Budapest’s best-known outdoor spaces, running over multiple weekends each autumn.

The 2026 edition ran over two main weekends — 25–27 September and 2–4 October 2026 — plus a bonus weekend on 9–11 October, at Erzsébet tér (Fröccsterasz) and the Margaret Island Gastro Promenade (Paulaner Sörkert & Mozi). A one-night Après Ski Soirée was held at the Normafa Ski Lodge on Saturday 3 October.
2027 dates have not been announced. The 2025 event (its 11th) ran 26–28 September and 3–5 October at the same two core locations, with a single Buda Castle Savoya Terrace date on 27 September and an Après Ski Soirée at Normafa on 11 October. The festival has therefore landed between late September and mid-October for the last two editions, which is a reasonable planning range for 2027 — but not a confirmed date.
When and where — Oktoberfest Budapest 2026
Erzsébet tér was open Friday 17:00–22:00, Saturday 12:00–22:00 and Sunday 12:00–20:00; Margaret Island Friday 17:00–23:00, Saturday 14:00–23:00 and Sunday 12:00–21:00. Entry to both was free during opening hours. The Normafa Après Ski Soirée ran from noon on Saturday 3 October until 04:00 on Sunday and was free until 16:00; the organiser lists no price after that.
