The Dublin Story Grand Slam 2026

The Dublin Story Grand Slam 2026 is a storytelling competition at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin on Sunday 25 October 2026, starting at 18:00. It brings together the reigning champions of the Dublin Story Slam, described as Dublin's longest-running competitive open mic storytelling night. At the monthly Story Slam, audience members take the stage to tell a true personal story inspired by a theme, and judges in the crowd choose a Story Slam Champion. At the GrandSlam, those champions return with new stories inspired by the theme FEAR and compete for the title of GrandSlam Champion. Eight champions are invited back. There are no scripts and no actors. Comedian Colm O'Regan hosts. Tickets cost €25 to €30. The event takes place on the Abbey Stage.
