The Feast of Our Lady of Carmel is celebrated on Sunday 6 and Monday 7 September 2026 at the Kappella Madonna Tal-Karmnu in Xlendi, a waterside village in the Il-Munxar local council area of Gozo. This is a titular feast for the chapel rather than the parish church, honouring the Virgin Mary under the title of Our Lady of Carmel.
Processions move through Xlendi's streets on both days, accompanied by hymn-singing and band music, with the chapel — which overlooks Xlendi Bay — as the focal point of the celebration.
