Leggi tutti i dettagli
Science in the City returns to Valletta on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September 2026, Malta's national science and arts festival. The 2026 edition runs under the theme "Research, Resist, Reimagine," built around the idea that research happens outside labs and lecture halls as much as inside them.
The programme has four strands: pre-festival workshops, a street festival across Valletta, a performance festival at Sala San Duminku and the Catholic Institute in Floriana, and an online component. Past editions have drawn over 33,000 attendees across the weekend.
Activities range from interactive workshops on genetics, plants and neuroscience to live performances and public talks, aimed at researchers, artists, students and the public together rather than as separate audiences.
