Delft

Delft is a small Dutch city of 17th-century canals, brick gabled houses and a central Markt square, known as the birthplace of painter Johannes Vermeer and the home of blue-and-white Delftware pottery. Its old town sits alongside Delft University of Technology, a leading Dutch technical university.
