Leggi tutti i dettagli
This new creation by Teatro Meridional weaves together short stories, poetry, and novel excerpts from various authors, spanning different moments in the history of Goa, Damão, and Diu. The performance explores the historical, geographical, and human universe of these territories, where Portuguese was once spoken and still lingers today.
Directed by Natália Luiza, the show brings together a cast of four actors, blending literature with music, movement, and visual elements. It honors the Indo-Portuguese communities now living in Portugal, bringing to the stage a heritage that many Portuguese have crossed paths with unknowingly.
Attendees can expect a rich, sensory journey that connects Portugal to its own history, performed at the intimate Teatro Meridional venue in Lisbon.
