Spread across Zilker Park over two consecutive three-day weekends, the Austin City Limits Music Festival fills the Texas park with eight stages of live music. Rock, indie, country, folk, electronic, and hip hop acts perform throughout the grounds, continuing the spirit of the long-running KLRU/PBS series that inspired the festival. The event is produced by C3 Presents.
Beyond the music, visitors can browse an art market at the center of the park, eat at the festival's Austin Eats food court with local restaurants, and find a dedicated kids area for families. Past performers have included Metallica, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Arctic Monkeys, and Kendrick Lamar; the upcoming headliners include Charli XCX, Rüfüs Du Sol, Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, The xx, Skrillex, and Kings of Leon.
