The same four members have been together since the start: Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook. The group's style relies heavily on four-part vocal harmonies, and all four members alternate as lead vocalists. Their albums include The Road to Here, released in 2005, which received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America, and The Christmas Record, released in 2024. The group has had the No. 1 singles "Pontoon" and "Better Man".
