Beats Antique with Roni Kaspi

Beats Antique is a U.S.-based experimental world fusion and electronic music group formed in 2007. Their live shows are known for mixing samples and heavy percussives with Tribal Fusion dance and performance art. David Satori, Zoe Jakes, and Tommy Cappel founded the group, each bringing a rich background in world music and dance. Satori studied at CalArts and played with afro-beat bands, while Jakes is a celebrated belly dancer with training in multiple styles. Their debut album, Tribal Derivations, was released on Miles Copeland's label, setting the stage for a career blending electronic, world, and experimental sounds.
