Frank Vignola's Guitar Night with Pasquale Grasso and Jan Knutson

Frank Vignola's Guitar Night celebrates the guitar in jazz every Wednesday at Birdland Theater, a cozy basement venue in New York's theater district. Vignola, a virtuoso who has performed with everyone from Ringo Starr to Madonna, leads a rotating cast of top musicians through the Great American Songbook. Inspired by John Pisano's famed Los Angeles Guitar Night, each show offers an intimate evening of improvisation and intricate interplay.

For this edition, Vignola is joined by guitarists Pasquale Grasso and Jan Knutson, alongside a rhythm section of bassist Gary Mazzaroppi and drummer Alex Raderman. The relaxed listening-room atmosphere lets audiences fully appreciate the delicate artistry of the performers.
