Hiromi: The Trio Project at Blue Note Hawaii

Hiromi, the acclaimed jazz pianist, brings her Trio Project to Blue Note Hawaii. Over 20 years, she has earned a GRAMMY, performed at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, and garnered an NPR Tiny Desk Concert with 2 million views. Her current band, Hiromi's Sonicwonder, includes French-born bassist Hadrien Feraud (compared to Jaco Pastorius), Chicago drummer Gene Coye (raised playing in church), and Brooklyn trumpeter Adam O'Farrill (from a Latin-jazz dynasty).

The group's latest album, OUT THERE, features a four-part suite that showcases their interplay, blending rapid-fire melodies with funk grooves. Hiromi's compositions draw from her curiosity and desire to push boundaries, as heard on tracks like 'Takin'' and 'Strollin'.'

At the intimate Blue Note Hawaii on Waikiki, attendees can enjoy dinner and drinks during the show. Seating is first-come, first-served, offering an up-close experience with the pianist and her ensemble.
