Trumpeter and bandleader Mike Lewis returns to Blue Note Hawaii with his 17-piece big band, continuing a Monday-night residency now in its 11th year. His decades-long career has included work with a wide range of vocalists and bandleaders, and the Hawaiʻi State Senate has recognized him for helping build and sustain the local big-band community.
Expect an evening of ensemble brass in a Waikiki club setting, with a full bar and dinner menu available. It’s a chance to hear a Honolulu mainstay at the venue where Lewis has performed and produced the most shows.
