Cuban Sound Project in Madrid

The Cuban Sound Project brings a large orchestra to the Templete de la Música in Madrid's Parque del Oeste, blending the classic big-band arrangements of the 1940s and 1950s with a contemporary sound. Led by two-time Grammy and Latin Grammy winner Demetrio Muñiz, the ensemble features internationally renowned Cuban musicians.

Attendees can expect an evening of danzón, boleros, guarache, son, chachachá, and other Cuban genres, delivered with the energy and elegance of Cuba's great musical traditions. The concert serves as the closing event of the summer Templete series, offering a free, open-air celebration of Cuban music.
