Mucha Muchacha - Latina

Mucha Muchacha brings its acclaimed dance piece to the Auditorio Paco de Lucía in Madrid's Latina district. The company, founded in 2016, began by researching Las Sinsombrero, the women artists and intellectuals of the Generation of '27 who modernized culture in the 1920s and 30s before being silenced. That research became the seed of this work, which turns memory into a motor for speaking about the present through freedom, cooperation, and collective empowerment.

Through a transformative dialogue between contemporary and Spanish dance, the piece celebrates the strength of being together and dance's power to transform. It's a declaration of intent around movement, community, femininity, and ritual.
