Przeczytaj wszystkie szczegóły

Sharon Eyal's latest creation, « Delay the Sadness », is a deeply personal work dedicated to her late mother. The piece features eight dancers moving through a hypnotic electro score, alternating between fluid curves and sharp, convulsive gestures. Solo, duet, trio, and group sequences build a cathartic exploration of grief and artistic sublimation.

Dressed in flesh-toned bodysuits and poised on half-pointes, the performers trace emotional variations across the stage with sculptural precision. Their arched backs and painted faces create an otherworldly presence, while the dynamic lighting and electronic pulses amplify the intensity. The result blends classicism and modernity, characteristic of Eyal's rising-star status in contemporary dance.

Originally presented by Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse in partnership with La Villette in late 2025, this 55-minute performance now arrives at Théâtre du Rond-Point. It offers an intimate encounter with one of the most compelling choreographers working today.
