From September 2026 to January 2027, the libraries of Paris's 5th and 6th arrondissements host monthly game nights open to all ages and skill levels. Each evening offers a chance to discover board games—from strategy and bluffing games to party games—in a friendly, community atmosphere. Attendees can also bring their own games to share, and a participatory buffet invites everyone to contribute snacks or drinks.
The series rotates among five libraries: Buffon, Mohammed Arkoun, L'Heure Joyeuse, Rainer Maria Rilke, and André Malraux. Two sessions (November 28 and January 30) feature sign language interpreters, making them accessible to deaf attendees. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or a curious newcomer, these soirées provide a welcoming space to play, socialize, and explore the city's vibrant library culture.
