Stage Poterie: Ceramic Decoration Workshop in Paris

This five-day ceramic workshop in Paris's 13th arrondissement focuses on decoration techniques such as engobes, sgraffito, mishima, mixed clays, stenciling, and stamping. Participants will first create test tiles and small decorated plaques to experiment with these methods, then develop a small series of 5 to 6 functional or decorative objects using one of the studied techniques.

The workshop is open to beginners, though some modeling and drawing experience is helpful. Note that pieces will not be fired before the end of the workshop, so participants must plan to pick them up later. The course does not cover glazing, concentrating solely on the decorative techniques listed.
