Messa in London

Italian doom metal band Messa play London on this date, formed in Cittadella in 2014 and now touring behind their 2025 album The Spin. The band describes its own sound as 'Scarlet doom' -- a mix pulling in traditional doom metal alongside jazz, psychedelic rock and dark ambient textures, a range the members say comes from none of them having played doom metal before forming the band. They built international recognition with 2018's Feast for Water, signed to Finnish label Svart Records in 2021, and moved to Metal Blade Records for The Spin. Messa have played major European metal festivals including Hellfest and Roadburn, so this London club date offers a chance to see a festival-level act in a much smaller room.
