Przeczytaj wszystkie szczegóły

In Guardia is a re-enactment staged at Fort St Elmo in Valletta, running from Sunday 18 October through Sunday 13 December 2026 alongside the fort's National War Museum. The show recreates the inspection parade once carried out whenever the Grand Bailiff of the Order of St John visited the fort to check its readiness against the constant threat of Ottoman invasion.

Around 55 re-enactors in period uniform perform military drill with pikes and muskets, and the display culminates in cannon fire; each show runs about 40 minutes. Fort St Elmo itself, built by the Knights of St John in 1522, withstood a month-long siege in 1565 before falling to Ottoman forces, and the National War Museum inside covers that history alongside Malta's later military past.
