Lisboa Subterrânea: Explore Lisbon's Hidden Water Reservoirs

Lisboa Subterrânea offers a unique guided tour through two centuries of Lisbon's water history, exploring two reservoirs, two architectural typologies, two routes, and an underground gallery. The journey begins at the Reservatório da Mãe d’Água das Amoreiras and continues to the Museu da Água da EPAL – Galeria do Loreto, revealing the mysterious world of water beneath the city.

Participants will traverse contrasting spaces, from a 19th-century reservoir to a modern underground gallery, learning about Lisbon's water supply system. The tour is not recommended for those with claustrophobia, and comfortable, waterproof closed-toe shoes are advised.
