Musa Paradisíaca: Emporio at Galeria Zé dos Bois

Musa Paradisíaca presents *Emporio*, a 90-minute audiovisual piece that explores the space between historical collapse and private grief. Using raw VHS archive footage, the work transforms the events of September 11 from a media spectacle into the background noise of a psychological portrait of mourning. The installation captures the suspension of everyday life as it fragments under the weight of trauma, inscribing individual pain onto the cold surface of a visual empire.

Curated by Natxo Checa, the piece oscillates between confessional whispers and monumental projection, creating a space where the time of grief resists the pressure of history. Visitors can experience this testimony of fragility at Galeria Zé dos Bois, where memory struggles to survive the indifference of spectacle. The gallery is open Monday to Saturday, offering an intimate setting for this durational work.
