16Volt and Acumen Nation at Chop Suey

An evening of industrial rock and metal lands at Chop Suey as 16volt and Chicago's Acumen Nation share the stage. 16volt, the long-running project of Eric Powell, brings a layered, electronic-driven sound, while Acumen Nation has spent decades building a following in the industrial underground. Mechanismus DJs also appear on the bill.

Both groups have deep roots in the American industrial scene. Acumen Nation's history includes early tours alongside 16 Volt and releases on independent labels, while 16volt has remained a steady presence in the genre.
