Open Mic Performer Sign-Ups at The Bluebird Cafe

Open Mic Nights at The Bluebird Cafe are made possible by the Recording Industry Association of America, which recognizes the club for giving opportunities to both established writers and those still building their careers. The Monday open mic is a songwriter's night: performers sign up in advance for a slot and then step up to play original material.

Each writer plays one or two original songs, solo or with no more than two other musicians, and the club's house Taylor guitar and Kawai piano are available. With no drums or backing tracks allowed, the night stays acoustic and tightly focused on the songwriting itself.
