Big In The 90s brings the ultimate 90s cover band experience to Tipitina's in New Orleans. The band runs the gamut of 90s music—alternative, pop, grunge, and R&B—with a set list that spans Britney to Brit-pop, Gin Blossoms to Ginuwine. Each show feels like hitting shuffle on a 6-disc changer filled with old mix CDs, where every song is a classic that gets the crowd screaming "This is my JAM!"

The band is made up of seasoned performers who have played stages of all sizes across the country. Singer Jonathan Pretus and drummer Kyle Melancon both spent time in New Orleans-based bands that were actually big in the 90s—Pretus as guitarist in Cowboy Mouth, and Melancon as drummer for Dash Rip Rock. Guitarist Stephen Turner, bassist Joe Bourgeois, and Pretus were part of the acclaimed rock band The Breton Sound, and they formed Big In The 90s to play the eclectic 90s songs they grew up loving. The result is a high-energy, faithful live show that brings all those songs to life.
