Giant Day, the duo of Derek Almstead and Emily Growden, released their second album *Alarm* in 2025 on Elephant 6 Recording Company. Their sound, described as darker than the lysergic pop associated with their former Athens home, emerged from their relocation to a rural Pennsylvania farm where they converted horse stables into a studio. The evening promises a journey through both acts' unique sonic landscapes, from BMSR's candied synth melodies to Giant Day's urgent, paranoid throb.
