Chris Thomas King Trio at Snug Harbor

Chris Thomas King brings his trio to Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro, a celebrated venue on Frenchmen Street in New Orleans. Known as a modern blues griot, King is a Grammy-winning musician, actor, and author who has released over two dozen records and appeared in films like Ray and the HBO series Tremé. His music blends traditional blues with rap-blues fusion, a style he pioneered with his 1990s concept album 21st Century Blues… from da Hood.
