Clockmaker's Daughter is a musical by Michael Webborn and Daniel Finn, set in a fictional late-19th-century Irish town called Spindlewood. At its heart is a clockmaker who builds a remarkably lifelike automaton in the image of his late daughter; the creation, Constance, develops a will of her own and begins slipping out into the world. What follows is a story of secrecy, love and belonging as Constance befriends Will Riley, while the town turns against her once her secret is revealed.
