David Marino Sings Michel Legrand at Birdland

David Marino presents an evening of Michel Legrand's music at Birdland Jazz Club, accompanied by a quartet directed by pianist Tedd Firth. The program spans Legrand's celebrated repertoire, ranging from French chanson to jazz and cinematic melodies, including selections from *The Umbrellas of Cherbourg*, *The Young Girls of Rochefort*, and the classic "The Windmills of Your Mind."

A regular performer at Birdland, Marino recently starred as Maxence in the stage adaptation of *The Young Girls of Rochefort* at Paris's Lido Theatre. Upcoming projects include a 2027 US tour, *World On A String: Swinging the Songs of Broadway*, produced by Jazz at Lincoln Center, and new recordings approved by the Michel Legrand estate.
